Mommy, Daddy, brother, sister, i know it's hard to accept, but I'm growing.

Time for me to make my own decisions and face the consequences.

Time to take off my training wheels and let go of the back of the seat, i know i can balance.

Trust in me to choose the right road, i can do it on my own.

I'm a teenager, it's true.

But my family needs to know, you have helped me make it this far, now it's time to unhitch those training wheels so i can make it all the way.

But keep in mind I will need your help when i occasionally start to fall.

Best part about this is that I'm growing into the polite young lady you wanted me to be.

But im always gonna remember those training wheels.

There once was a raindrop, who could never understand, why the world was covered with sand.

The deserts were always full, and always seemed somewhat dull.

But if he ever knew, why the grass was covered with dew, maybe he would wonder instead, about what the preacher said.

Maybe he would listen to happy music, instead of listening to music that made him want to lose it.

He might even decide to do a good deed, or even choose to lead.

Wouldn't it be a miracle if this raindrop could do that? Maybe kick a soccer ball or swing a bat.

Run his own church, sitting up there upon his perch, teaching the world what he never could understand, why the world was covered with sand.....
